Care Centre St. Elisabeth in Waldkrankenhaus Erlangen

In the Care Centre Elisabethheim in Erlangen I spent some time with able residents whilst painting a large canvas to cover an unsightly wall in their common room. I took all their suggestions on board and more or less successfully integrated them in to the finished painting – Franconian Switzerland, sun going down, river, a nice place to sit and of course last but not least, the wayside crosses we find all over the countryside here. The fun wasn’t just in the painting, it was also to be had in the visits during the afternoons from other residents and staff. What a lovely time we had.
