Upper Franconian Artists Society in Bad Steben

Our field trip this year took us to the beautiful spa town of Bad Steben. Disappointingly it rained continuously so that we were forced to put up our easels in the church hall (Maria, Königen des Friedens) and painted pictures of the town and surrounding area with the aid of quick sketches and photos instead of our usual practice of painting “plein air”.

In spite of the weather, we all enjoyed painting together and had a lovely time, we hope that you can see our good spirits reflected in our paintings.
